Road Safety
Staying Safe on your Journey to School
Parking
We kindly ask our families not to park on yellow lines, in the middle of the road or on the pavement. Parking in such a way means that our children have restricted view when crossing the road. It also means they are subject to more pollution from cars and other vehicles.
Such parking also means that those that want to cycle to school are put off from doing so due to fears of collision. Please park responsibly and remind others to do so.
Cycles and Scooters
We love to see children arrive at school on scooters and bikes. If children want to do this, then we ask that they come wearing a helmet. This is a condition of their travel by bike or scooter and we do not allow children to bring bikes or scooters unless they are wearing a helmet.
