Behaviour
At St. Michael's, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clear and consistent set of behaviour expectations that are established in every classroom. These expectations serve as a guide for addressing negative behaviours, while we also celebrating positive actions through praise, weekly certifcates and house points.
Furthermore, we believe in teaching behaviour through the exploration and illustration of our core values: peace, courage, and respect. Our approach includes drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of Jesus during our collective worship sessions, fostering a deep understanding of how these values shape our interactions within the school community.
In line with our commitment to holistic development, we have developed a comprehensive behaviour curriculum that is systematically taught to all our students. This curriculum encompasses various aspects of school life, equipping our children with the necessary skills to navigate social situations and uphold our shared values.
