Educational Visits
Below is a sample of the educational visits each year group has been on this year.
Year 1
Corfe Castle
Year 1 have enjoyed a visit to Corfe Castle to find out what life was like for Kings and Queens of the past.



Year 2
Marwell Zoo
Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Marwell Zoo in October to look at animals and their habitats as part of their science unit.



Year 3
Stonehenge
Year 3 enjoyed a visit to Stonehenge in October, as part of their Stone Age unit of history. It was an amazing experience to visit this World Heritatge Site (even though it rained and rained!)
Year 4
Tutankhamun Museum
Year 4 visited the Tutankhamun Museum in Dorchester in Octover, as part of their history unit on Ancient Egypt. The museum is full of spectatcular recreations of the tomb and treasures, so the visit was full of 'wow' moments for the children.




Year 5
Winchester Science Museum
Year 5 visited the Winchester Science Museum and enjoyed their interactive displays. The children took part in a workshop where they explored 'forces' (particularly friction) through a rocket experiment. They then enjoyed learning about the Universe in the amazing planetarium.
Year 6
Theatre Visit
Year 6 enjoyed a fabulous performance of The Lion King at the Mayflower Theatre in October 22. This was many children's first theatre experience, and it didn't disappoint! The music, costumes and acting were incredible .
