Nursery Rhymes
Learning nursery rhymes is an important part of the early years curriculum as it encourage active listening and concentrating. Singing nursery rhymes is often a pupils first step into oral storytelling and reciting, poetry which will be built upon as they progress through school. Memory skills improve as children learn rhymes off by heart from a young age.
