Year 6
Welcome to Year 6
We hope you find this information useful. Please do speak to any member of the team if you have any questions.
School closure tasks
Please below find a list of activities and tasks to complete over the next two days
1) Ready for the Year six Leaver's service write how you have let your light shine. You will be copying this up in neat at school.
2) Create a poster advertising your stall for the Summer Fair
3) Learn your home address and 1 key contact number off by heart.
4) Write a letter of thanks for a member of staff for last week. This could be a member of Ferny staff or a member of St Michael's staff. For those that did not attend Ferny Croft you could thank the class teacher you were in last week.
5) From 'Can You See Me' write a character profile about one of the characters in the book.
Catch up:
For those that have not finished all their current homework use this as an opportunity to catch up on your Maths tasks and the set projects. (Next weeks home learning has been put up already too).

Hoodies
The children are all delighted with their leavers’ hoodies.
We would like to clarify the arrangements for wearing them in school.
Mr Evans has agreed that Year 6 children may wear their leavers’ hoodies on Mondays and Fridays as part of their PE kit. However, the hoodies will be removed during class time, particularly as the weather is becoming warmer.
The hoodies may, of course, also be worn at Ferny Croft.
When walking to and from school, hoods should remain down. As the hoodies display our school name, children should remember that they are representing the school at all times.
Please help us to ensure that your child wears their hoodie only at the specified times.
