This year, Mrs Casson, Mrs Tully and Mr Fry set out to run 2021 miles between them to raise money for two charities: Little John’s House in Romania and the Dorset Children’s Foundation based in Bournemouth. They are almost there but would like the help of all the pupils at St Michael’s to run the last 200 miles before the end of the year – on the Big Run Day.

On Friday 10th December (This date has changed from the 3^rd), we would like children to come to school dressed in sports clothes and trainers in exchange for a £1 donation to support the charities. With their class, they will then run around the playground daily-mile track as many times as they can. Each completed lap will be added up and a total announced at the end of the day to see if we have hit our 200 mile target. It doesn’t matter if children run or walk one lap or ten, they will all count!
