World Book Day 2022
Fri 18 Feb 2022Dear Parent/Carer,
We are thrilled to tell you that it is World Book Day on Thursday 3rd of March. After all we have been through over the last eighteen months, we are keen that this a day of celebration and fun for all our children and staff. We want to celebrate reading, books and the characters that our children discover within.
We are inviting all children to dress up as a character from a book that they love or to come in non-uniform with a quote from their book attached to their clothing.
There will be year-group competitions for the ‘best dressed’ and a host of activities during the day. The costumes need not be expensive or fancy; there are many thrifty ideas online and half term could be the ideal opportunity to get creative by
fashioning second hand items from charity shops or upcycling things that they already own! Here are some simple links to costume ideas
